Compute localization uncertainty.
A theoretical estimate for localization uncertainty is given by the Cramer-Rao-lower-bound for the localization precision. The localization precision depends on a number of experimental factors including camera and photophysical characteristics [1] [2]. We provide functions to compute localization uncertainty from available localization properties as predicted by the Cramer-Rao-lower-bound for the localization precision.
